Can anyone tell me where Inveralmond Way is in Perth Question

As a lover of real ales (and good Whisky Smile ) I was sitting tonight relaxing in front of the TV enjoying a bottle of 'Lia Fail' when I noticed it was brewed in Perth. I googled the website and the decsription of the brewery looked enticing ...and I quote directly from the website:

"The Inveralmond Brewery nestles between the fabulous rolling hills of Perthshire and the mighty Grampian mountain range, with crystal clear rivers all around. This breathtakingly beautiful scenery provided the inspiration for the original recipes. " (

I dont think it's there anymore. i work on the estate, and cant ever remember seeing a distillery or brewery there . I think probably it would be further up the river almond.? and the Smell would give away the location, if it was actually on the estate! but I could be mistaken, as for a Dram I'm rather fond of a good single malt, but prefer the island malts as opposed to the ones made on the mainland, but iv'e never been known to turn down the chance to taste something new...... Given the photos of the brewery interior on their website I'd say it was probably housed within a conventional industrial estate type building rather than look like a traditional brewery. Confused

Probably the reason they've not made a bit of a tourist attraction of it. Confused

Slightly off topic here, but I hate the fact that the local authorities are tearing down all our Victorian buildings and replacing them with these modern 'soul-less' buildings that make one town centre look exactly like another. Sad

They don't even reclaim the bricks etc. Here in Forfar they have just turned the old Forfar Infirmary buildings into rubble. They would have made superb renovated flats but I've no doubt the local authorities have had an offer they can't refuse to build 'chicken box' type Wimpy homes. Sad

This from local authorities who readilly refuse planning permission for an extension on the grounds that it isn't period with the rest of the area. Evil or Very Mad

Best stop there before this develops into a whinge. Cool

Talking of brewerey's and real ale - does anyone know where the brewery which makes the 'heather ale' is based. Smile
