Hi Weavie can't make this one - not by bike anyhow. Popped into Clarkies on Saturday afternoon to pick up my old BMW pannie rack - side rails were missing so they took me through to the workshop to look for it.

My bike has the new Touratech pannie rack fitted and passed it's MOT no worries but they still have bits dissasembled and I guess it'll be Wednesday earliest before I see it again. Rolling Eyes

I'll be along at the next one though for sure.

Hi Maddog

I'll be off on a couple of weeks holiday after Mondays meeting for a much needed period of rest and relaxation, so you might want to delay attending until the First meeting in July in Edinburgh on Monday 2nd July or the week after at Uphall so we can meet up and I can give an overview of what's happening nationally.

That'll be fine with me Weavie. Please post a reminder closer to the time. Very Happy

Hi Maddog

Always good to hear from former members. Nowadays Edinburgh MAG meet at the Meadows Bar Buccleuch Street Edinburgh 1st and 3rd Mondays of the Month, while West Lothian MAG meet at the Dovehill Arms, Main Street, Uphall (Opposite C & J wilsons) on the 2nd Monday of the month. Feel free to come along to any of the meetings and see what we are up to these days.(Meetings start at 8.30pm)

Also anyone interested in a good rally next weekend, could do worse than to pay the Edinburgh MAG Ag Ol anns an Achaidh rally near West Calder a visit. A selection of bands, good food and a cheap bar should ensure a lively party atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights. While if you can't make that there's always the demo run at 12 noon for 12.30 departure on Saturday 2nd June from Regent Road, Edinburgh for an escourted run along Princes Street.

This years theme is road pricing and why bikes as a non-congestion causing mode should be exempt. OK so its only an idea at the moment, but if this goes ahead it threatens satalite tracking of all vehicles and introduction of ISA (Intellegant Speed Adaption) by the back door.
