I think these answers would be different for each forum that you are on.

In general I would only reply to a topic I'm interested in. There are forums I drift in and out of ie post for a while and then lose interest. Then down the line I return to them. Then there are those that I just lurk in.

It is all about comfort for me. It helps when you know folk. I have a little club forum of my own that I recently started and go mad on because I know almost everyone on it. On the other hand there are forums that I find it difficult to fit in with and just check out for info.

I guess for this forum, I would just like to enjoy some banter and hopefully make a few new friends. Wink

Think there should be a section and posts on advice for all of us unfortunate to have had an RTA.

> How we handled insurance claim

> What offer we had for bike

> Injuries (best solicitors for fighting injury claims) including time of work which makes up most of claim

> keeping updated photo's of present bike with valuation if possible

A section like this would be beneficial for someone in the unfortunate situation.
The advice you receive from certain solicitors may indeed not be fully beneficial to yourself, they also give advice on whether to settle in or out of court, again sometimes this could not be in your favour but due to being inexperienced in these matters you take the word of your own solicitor, whom you believe has your own interests at hand.

If we consider a section like this to be worthwhile I feel it should be used only on previous experience and claim circumstances.

This would allow reference for people in similar circumstances.
Hopefully their wont be a lot of posts as we dont want many incidents but from the posts that are up, hopefully it could be to one of our members benefit.

alternatively we could keep on talking B*llshit as there is always plenty time for that.

Just an idea, to put to our members

A very good idea F4I! Be even more useful to have some of the basic procedures outlined on a forum based website. This would also attract some commercial interest from insurance companies etc. Smile

It's quiet in here today incidentally. Sad
