Oh my here we go.............

1. Took a gravel turning to sharp and skidded into a field, lost my clutch lever

2. Freshly chipped road, girl in front lost control and I took the wrong avaisive action and copied her, lost back break leaver bent clutch, smashed fairing, indicator etc but managed to ride it home.

3. Took a corner too fast and went down an 8ft ditch, again lost levers but managed to ride it home.

4. Car in front stopped dead to turn right without indicating, to avoid hitting him I swerved and braked hard losing control, almost wrote bike off and crushed my knee (which I am still recovering from).

Embarassed Crying or Very sad Embarassed

That reminds me of someone, no names mentioned but Wink but he spent all day washing and polishing his pride and joy then forgot to put the stand down after wheeling it into the garage let go and dropped it Shocked

Same person parked up at the side of the road put foot down and into a ditch and bike followed on top of him Wink

Doing U-turns on lessons, nice sunny evening in a quiet street, every body out in the garden, down I went, ER 500 on top of me, got a cheer from a crowd of wee lads on push bikes Cool

slow motion slide on white paint in the middle of road 6.30am hundred yards from home, on way to work but looking for son doing his paper round and not concentrating. Embarassed Broke shoulder plate and damaged bike but not beyond repair. Found son and he had to drag the leathers off of me - no way were they cutting my leathers off! Agony Twisted Evil

At Claypots Junction just after they took out the roundabout (oops! sorry read circle as it Dundee area) and fitted something like 40 sets of traffic lights. On the curve on the Monifieth side heading in that direction a Roofing company (who will remain nameless) dropped a 45 gallon drum of oil/water sludge on the road.
End result- bike written off and a sore sholder - could have been much worse as this was in busy traffic.

Got another bike out of it but i can think of easier ways.
