Not only animals Michi. I agree though it is a rather sad photograph but it does illustrate that animals do feel a sense of loss (which not all humans do) which surely must indicate a high order of intelligence.

Makes me wonder what on earth F41 surfs for online though Wink

I let people surf for me, just take the good bits and pass on, got to give credit to that poor hound though loyal to the end, or perhaps its wondering where its next meal is coming from

Any idea where it was taken Roy, looks like some South American country at first glance. It is a very touching photo though. Edinburgh has a few similar pouch stories since made famous such as Greyfriars Bobby and the magician who was buried with his dog days after being granted permission for a burial with an animal. Sad
