16 years old,my KTM commet,yellow bouht on hp,with my parents as garentors,any body remember that. comming up steep hill,open face helmet,snow wind looking down,just over the clocks,hit this old guyes hilman scepter.landed on the roof.wrote of my moped an his hilman.he was good ol boy though,took me in gave me cup of tea an the insurance saw us both striaght, been biken ever since....

My First accident

Thirty odd years ago
First bike KH250 Kawasaki
Second Day of ownership!
Tried going round a right angle bend at 40mph and the road was covered in beach nuts. Slide , scraping noises, winded & bruised young lad pushing bike half mile home.

My dad said "pillock! pay attention to whats on the road"
He got a hammer out and straightened the bent bits.
Then sent me back out.
I've been on bikes nearly all the time since. Thanks Dad, hope you''ve a bike in Heaven

My frst off
Back road from invergowrie to Longforgan at night ,with one candle burning in the headlight,came to a right hander ,i went straight on ,flat oot.
Hit a fence ,up in the air, tore all my gear,landed on my head
Oh to be young again,i was made of rubber

Is it just first or all of them cos I have too many to list

Mostly incidents rather than accidents:

1. KH125 - Laid to rest on ground, brake fluid melted indicator switch

2. Shadow 125 - misjudged u-turn and almost laid to rest, no damage but got stuck in the position of no return and had to be rescued by an 80yr old man

3. Suzuki SV400 - Dropped once broke clutch lever

4. Suzuki SV400 - Skidded on gravel, smashed all fairings, levers and back brake

5. ER-6 - nearly wrote it off last year, chappy decided to turn right without indicating, bike almost written off and me too, on crutches for a couple of months
