I never have that much fun at work when it's busy but this week has to be the worst week I have ever had at work.

I'm busy working away on Wednesday when a guy from trading standards walks in and asks to see the boss (Me) so i directed him in my Dads direction as i couldn't be arsed dealing with it at the time.
One of my customers had phoned up during the week to price a tyre so my mother quoted him on the tyre he asked for. When he came in to buy the tyre he said it MUST be H speed rated. This wasn't what he asked for on the phone so we had to price this new tyre for him and it turned out it was around £5.00 more expensive. He wasn't happy with this and went to trading standards to complain about us.

That was bad enough, but today we had another incident. I was just working my way through the que of cars that was waiting outside my garage, just doing them in the order they arrived in which is the only fair way to do it. Then this guy starts complaining that he was before all of them (he wasn't) and that I'm only serving them first because he's Asian.
I was so bloody furious i could have happily strangled him right there and then. I wonder if he'll go and call trading standards on me too.

I'm sure it's just coincidence but the first guy was Asian also.

I hope next week will be less stressful at work or someone is really going to push me too far.

my daughter works in Boots in Edinburgh. One of the girls on the shop floor was asked to leave because not only was she using boots make up and creams that were for sale, not even samples, whilst she was at work, she also was fiddling money from the till. She made such a fuss saying that she was being victimised as she was black that Boots gave in and took her back, more fool them. Can't stand folk being racialist but when others play the race or sex card it makes my blood boil!
