No yet again my damn life got in the way I did sit on it and made bike noises for about 5 mins to cheer myself up.

I'm in complete empathy with you Rach - today was the best day of the summer so far and I longed to get out on the bike but studying had to take precedence. In the middle of another assessment.

Truly beautiful day today too! With a bit of luck if it keeps up I'll get out tomorrow. Fancy following the Pictish trail actually - think I could link up a few roads to take in the best scenery!

Excellent weather yesterday (monday) and was out on the bike all day
few laughable moments ( on driving from Newburgh to Newport on the riverside road just got round a corner and 2 tractors "parked" one on a verge, the other on the road, taking up the whole road)
the two drivers were sharing a flask of coffee? tea? not even in the cabs !at least it put our brakes to the test.
anyway excellent weather and hopefully good again today
off out today again but a friend has 2 mv's in bits & boxes, awaiting to be built so thats the fun part today.

I managed to get the GS out tonight for a blast along the backroads towards Brechin & Montrose following parts of the Pictish trail!
Beautiful night and loads of bikes on the road. As I rode into Aberlemno the sun has completely illuminated the large Pictish stone that stands there. I've passed this many times but never have I seen it look so magnificent. As I rode up over the hill I forgot just how superbly stunning the view was from there. Although intensely farmed now it's not difficult to imagine how that landscape looked at the time of the Picts.
Love those twisties on the way back in from the Montrose direction but you really have to keep your mind on the speedo as you come back into Forfar!
Great night, even though I should have been studying.
