Given the photos of the brewery interior on their website I'd say it was probably housed within a conventional industrial estate type building rather than look like a traditional brewery.
Probably the reason they've not made a bit of a tourist attraction of it.
Slightly off topic here, but I hate the fact that the local authorities are tearing down all our Victorian buildings and replacing them with these modern 'soul-less' buildings that make one town centre look exactly like another.
They don't even reclaim the bricks etc. Here in Forfar they have just turned the old Forfar Infirmary buildings into rubble. They would have made superb renovated flats but I've no doubt the local authorities have had an offer they can't refuse to build 'chicken box' type Wimpy homes.
This from local authorities who readilly refuse planning permission for an extension on the grounds that it isn't period with the rest of the area.
Best stop there before this develops into a whinge.
Talking of brewerey's and real ale - does anyone know where the brewery which makes the 'heather ale' is based.
