Hi All

We were the bikers who were t boned on broxden traffic island 19th July 2007, I have 4 broken ribs and severe bruising and my partner who was laying face down has severe bruising and a neck injury, we tour Scotland each year, having just come down from Rogart on our way to Coldingham broxden island was as far as we got, then spent the night in Dundee hospital. lovely people north of the boarder.

I will be off work for a few more weeks, bike is a write off but we are here to tell the tale.

kind regards
Andy Mac

Hi All

Thank you for your kind words

firstly it was Sue who was having the afternoon nap, she sends her apologies, I told her not to get off before we stop .(she's an excellent pillion dont know she's on), luckily the accident hasn't put her off biking. The ambulance had already taken me to Dundee hospital.

I dont know who was in the cars as we left Perth on our way back to Leicestershire with the bike on a RAC wagon. Maybe it was the 3rd party.

can anyone help with a drawing of the road lane layout, we travelled down the A9 from Inverness, and was going straight over to join M90 towards Edingburgh.

Next year I will give you all plenty of notice when we are travelling to Scotland.

kind regards
Andy

New bike on order for 1st September :

in the PM provide youe e-mail address, I can also take pics and send them via e-mail to you, or just a drawing if thats all you need

again it will be no problem and more than happy to help out, just lets know exactly what you need

Glad to hear you are both on the mend. Broxden apparently is the busiest roundabout in Scotland.

Any idea what actually happened, since you emntioned being T-Boned I assume a vehicle came through the roundabout from the Perth direction straight into you? Sad

Reference the road layout, it might be worth contacting BEAR Scotland, who I think are still responsible for the main trunk roads etc. since there's been a lot of redevelopment at Broxden recently they may be able to supply you with a blueprint of the roundabout layout. Cool
